During the summer, Charleston comes alive with many free and cheap music concert series that are sure to delight the ears. Come down in June to enjoy various live concerts going on throughout the Charleston area. Check out one of these fun events:

Party at the Point – Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina in Mt. Pleasant hosts a Party at the Point every Friday night from April to June. Bring your friends for live music, beverages and the beach! The music starts at 6:30 p.m. and will be featuring bands like Blue Monday, Elise Testone and Occasional Milkshake. Tickets range from $5-15 per person depending on the artist performing.

The Sound of Charleston– Charleston’s musical heritage comes alive in full-force at the Circular Congregational Church with the Sound of Charleston concert. Listen to amazing gospel, sounds from the Gershwin’s and fun jazz music at these great concerts. Days and times of shows vary throughout the year and tickets range from $16-28.

Party at the Park– The town of Mt. Pleasant in conjunction with WEZL 103.5 holds free country music concerts every Tuesday night in June. This season’s concerts include the X-factor’s Tate Stevens, Rachel Farley and Easton Corbin. Concerts are free and start at 6:30 pm. Food and beverage can be purchased at the concerts but no coolers are allowed.
